Your head should remain in the original position of address until the conclusion of your follow-through pulls it away. This natural head turn should permit you to see the ball as it start its ascent after impact with your peripheral vision. However, you should not have the ability to find the whole flight out of this position.
In other words, the head remains still, only moving to response to motion of the hands and arms through the strike zone. There's no more fundamental golf tip than maintaining a still head when swinging a golf club.
